Mayor Balen placed a map of Greater Nepal in the working room

Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah has placed a map of Greater Nepal in his office.

A secretariat member told Setopati that a map of Greater Nepal was placed in the mayor’s office at the House of Assembly on Thursday.

“After placing the map of Greater India in the new parliament building of India, he asked why we should not put the map of Greater Nepal in his office,” he said.

He said that since the map of Nepal is also old, the map of Greater Nepal has been restored.

Mayor Balen Shah is currently in Bangalore, India.

India inaugurated the new Parliament building on 14th May. In that building, India kept a map of ‘Akhand Bharat’. In the said map, Lumbini and Kapilvastu areas of Nepal are included in ‘Akhand Bharat’.

Parliamentarians have been telling the Prime Minister that India should be asked to remove the mural of ‘Akhand Bharat’ placed in the Indian Parliament.
