PM Prachanda in Delhi: Attending important meetings and events

Kathmandu – Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), who is on a 4-day official visit to India, is participating in important meetings and events today (Thursday).

Prime Minister Prachanda will reach the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in Delhi on Thursday morning. After paying homage to Gandhi there, he is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House, followed by a meeting at the delegation level.

There are plans to agree on some important issues and sign some memorandums of understanding. The agenda has been decided to discuss various issues of energy trade, commerce, trade and mutual interest.

The Prime Minister of India has organized a luncheon in honor of Prime Minister Dahal. After that, Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to meet Indian President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. The Prime Minister is scheduled to address the interaction organized by Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce and Confederation of Indian Industry on Thursday itself.

On the first day of the visit, Prime Minister Prachanda, who arrived in India on Wednesday, had a courtesy call on Prime Minister Modi’s security advisor Ajit Dova. Indian Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra also participated.

The Prime Minister attended a program organized by the Nepali Embassy in Delhi on Wednesday evening. Addressing the dinner program, the Prime Minister said that his visit to India will focus on enhancing goodwill.
