Sweden beats Australia to finish third in Women’s World Cup

Beating Australia, Sweden finished third in the Women’s World Cup. Sweden won 2-0 in the third place match on Saturday.

In the 30th minute, Sweden took the lead with Fridolina Rolfo’s penalty goal. Then Kosovare Aslani scored in the 62nd minute to ensure Sweden’s victory.

After the defeat, the host Australia is satisfied with the fourth place. Spain and England will compete for the title.
