U-19 World Cup: Nepal’s challenge to undefeated India

Nepal is facing India in the final match of the Super Six in the ongoing U-19 World Cup Cricket in South Africa. The match between Nepal and India will start in South Africa on Friday (today) at 2.50 pm according to Nepali time.

India is undefeated in this World Cup while Nepal has won only one match. If India wants to secure a trip to the semi-finals by defeating Nepal, Nepal, who has been eliminated from the race for the semi-finals, will only play for prestige.

India is a stronger team than Nepal. Because of that, India wants to make a trip to the semi-finals with an easy win over Nepal. Nepal also wants to create a new history by defeating India. Nepal has not been able to defeat India in the World Cup so far.

If India is to be defeated, it is necessary to improve Nepal’s batting, bowling and fielding. These three sides of Nepal have not been able to do well in the matches of the World Cup so far. Nepal’s batting opening has not settled down. Nepal has lost its first wicket against New Zealand by 1 run, Pakistan by 29 runs, Afghanistan by 11 runs and Bangladesh by 18 runs. If the start is good, the self-confidence of the next batter will increase and they can rise from the pressure and bat. Although there was some good batting in the lower order of the batting, it was not good in the middle order. Middle order batting determines the score.

However, due to not being able to form a good partnership in the middle order, Nepal’s score has been increased. Even in bowling, Nepal has not been able to do much miracles. Nepal, who had a good start against Afghanistan in bowling, could not start easily against other countries and ended up being defeated. To get a win against India, Nepal will have to open with a great start with middle order and lower order. He was able to take wickets in bowling as well. There will be pressure.
