Construction of ‘Sky Walk’ at Aina Pahara in Tanahun in final stages

Tanahun- The construction of the ‘Sky Walk’ at Aina Pahara, a tourist destination in Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality of Tanahun, has reached its final stage. The work that began in the second week of last Jestha has reached its final stage.

The sky walk was built with the aim of making Aina Pahara in Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality-2 a tourism hub, informed the rural municipality chairman Shukra Chuman. He said that the sky walk was built with an investment of Rs 15 lakh and preparations are underway to bring it into commercial operation within a few days.

A one-foot space has been kept between each step of the 50-meter-high and 57-meter-long sky walk. He said, ‘While walking on the sky walk, you can experience a unique adventure amidst greenery, peaceful mountains, and open sky. There is no need to be afraid as it is of high quality construction with safety measures.’

He said that this place has recently become a center of attraction for tourists, so infrastructure has been added here. He expressed confidence that the sky walk will help in the development of tourism and adventure activities here.

This place, which is connected to the Prithvi Highway, has developed into a tourist destination. There is a large influx of domestic tourists here on public holidays. On Saturdays, more than a thousand tourists arrive here, informed Aash Bahadur Gurung, ward chairman of Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality-2.

He said that this place, where various artistic figures are carved on the stones, is a favorite of tourists.

The rural municipality has already earned more than 6 million rupees from Aina Pahara. After the place, which is located near the highway, was developed as a tourist destination, a garden has been built to make this place more beautiful and attractive.

The figure of Ganesh has been made on the stone where the waterfall falls here, while the figures of a mother and child and an angel have been made on the stone near the waterfall.

The water of the Siudi River, located at the foot of Chimkeshwari, the highest Mahabharata mountain range in Tanahun, flows into the waterfall.

The rural municipality has said that it has prepared a detailed master plan report to make the Aina Pahara waterfall manageable. According to the detailed project report, a budget of Rs 100 million is required to manage this place.

According to the DPR, it is mentioned that structures including a Buddha statue, railings, parking, etc. will be constructed at this place.
