Karnali Express is expanding its English-language digital newsroom to make local reporting, province coverage and public-interest information easier to find in one place.
The updated news portal organizes reporting under Local and International News, province sections for Karnali, Koshi, Lumbini, Gandaki, Bagmati, Madhesh and Sudur Pashchim, as well as Education, Technology, Health, Politics, Economic, Entertainment, Sports and Culture.
A clearer news experience
Readers can move directly from the main menu to the subject or province they want to follow. Article pages include a featured image, author profile, publication information, related stories and sharing options for Facebook and X.
The homepage also gives more space to featured stories, latest reports, most-read articles, province coverage and photo stories.
Reader submissions
A new Write & Send News page allows readers and community contributors to submit a report, article or story idea for editorial review. Contributors can include a headline, article text, contact details, a source link and one featured image.
Submissions do not publish automatically. They first appear in the editorial dashboard, where an editor can review the material and convert suitable submissions into draft articles.
Editorial focus
Karnali Express aims to combine local attention with a wider national and international outlook. The newsroom will continue to develop its coverage, publishing tools and community connections as the platform grows.
