
In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Nepal has set a modest target of 124 runs for Italy. In the match being played on Thursday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India, Nepal were bowled out for 123 runs in 19.3 overs.
After losing the toss and being sent in to bat first, Arif Sheikh was the top scorer for Nepal with 27 runs. Rohit Paudel contributed 23 runs, Asif Sheikh scored 20, Dipendra Singh Airee added 17, and Karan KC made 18 runs. No other batsman was able to reach double figures.
For Italy, who won the toss and opted to field first, Krishan Kalugamage took 3 wickets. Ben Manenti claimed 2 wickets, while Ali Hasan, JJ Smuts, and Jasprit Singh picked up one wicket each.
